SMTA Program

Become a Certified Sinaptikon Medical Travel Advisor

Help patients access world-class medical care in Mexico and build a purpose-driven career along the way.

What is an SMTA?

A Sinaptikon Medical Travel Advisor (SMTA) is more than just a coordinator. SMTAs are trusted guides, community connectors and patient advocates who accompany individuals and families on their journey to healing.

Based in the U.S., our SMTA’s serve as the first point of contact for patients considering medical treatment in Mexico. They educate, listen and support, making sure every person feels safe and empowered to take control of their health.

Trusted Guide

SMTAs explain the process with clarity and compassion, helping patients understand their options and take the first step toward affordable high-quality care in Mexico.

Community Connector

Each SMTA acts as a local bridge, sharing information, answering questions and becoming a voice of trust in their neighborhoods, workplaces or networks.

Patient Advocate

From the first inquiry to the final follow-up, SMTAs walk with the patient, offering emotional support and peace of mind every step of the way without giving medical advice.

Who Can Become an SMTA?

You don’t need to be a doctor or a nurse. You just need to care deeply about people, speak English or Spanish fluently and want to make a meaningful impact.

Bilingual & Community-Minded

You speak English, Spanish or both and have strong ties to your community. Whether you’re a trusted voice among friends, neighbors or local groups, people naturally come to you for advice.

Healthcare-Aware, Not Healthcare-Only

You may be a nurse, caregiver, wellness coach or simply someone passionate about health. You understand the challenges of the U.S. system and want to offer real, accessible alternatives.

Experienced or Inspired by Medical Travel

Maybe you’ve been a medical traveler yourself. Maybe someone you love has. That personal connection gives you purpose and a powerful reason to help others navigate their own journey.

Give people options they didn’t know they had and hope they thought they’d lost.
